Here are the Moderator’s Picks for this week. Congrats to all, and thanks to everyone who posted. I love having a lot of images from which to choose.
Travel & Outdoor: Bacuit Bay Sandbar, by photographer Mark Jones … I chose this one because of its simplicity. It takes me somewhere in a clean and simple composition with no clutter, no busy distracting background. Bravo!
People & Portrait: Waiting for Lunch, by photographer Sarah Clarehart … I chose this because it is just classic photographers in a bunch. Sit them in a circle and they all start chimping their images instead of talking to one another. I like that the camera is in focus and not the people. That kind of illustrates my point.
Travel Challenge: Making A Market, by photographer Ben King … I selected this image based on the cropped repost. I love the feeling in this image. The frame is completely filled edge to edge in all directions. Nice image Ben, with a nice assist by Lucy.
