Lots of great comps up on the boards this week, and the travel challenge had a lot of intesting images of what was a ‘boardwalk’ to our photographers….here goes……and one of these weeks I need to figure out how to make the “title” return the viewer to that image..

P&P - Bob Miller and …”Ese”. The details and lighting of that gal really pulled you in. Exceptional portrait work Bob!! …but I think you do that for a living, dont you!!!

Travel Challenge - The boardwalk. I picked a B&W shot by Matt Blaisdell. It appears that I was the only one who actually liked it….but that happens sometimes, and I found the image very appealing……….and thats saying something, considering I shot about a dozen B&W’s a year! As a runner up, I really liked Bettie Coetzee Lambrecht’s image of the African Bush….almost felt like I was on that elevated walkway….and exactly what wild animal was just lurking underneath it……….waiting for dinner…….

T&0 - Well, this doesnt happen very often, but I called it a tie between Mark Jones superb shot “Calm before the storm ” and the wonderful image by Joseph Rossbach of “Stormy sunset on the Potomac”. Just a note- ’stormy’ is a good time to catch some great images and lighting…… as seen in both of these great shots!!

Congrat’s to our 5 winners this week …………keep the great images coming…..and go shot during a ’stormy’ day, as seen by our winners results……..
